This section is very important for us here at DP since as prisoners we often forget how much we can do for the local community at large at so little cost to ourselves. There is a variety of programs that you might undertake as individuals or small teams, and maybe, maybe, there might even be a shot at obtaining state funding (remember, our state is currently debating skipping an interest payment) - but it won't be more than $500 or so. Over the course of time we will obtain grants so that we can device a good-will project to help the Real prisoners out there that are at the mercy of the cold, harsh and careless system.
Also, you can also contribute to the efforts by your DP staff to make our prison a better environment for all of us by donating any spare time, good will, effort, capital of any sort (maybe cigarettes) and anything that you think you can give. You'd be surprised what good use we extract from even the most meaningless of things. If you'd like to become a member of DP Staff, we would love to welcome you in any degree. We love it when our organization grows and there is a variety of ways in which you can contribute your skills; writing, photography, field-work, computer-work, etc, etc, etc. We love skills!
Remember Two Inmates are better than One, and Many Inmates are better than a Few, ad infinitum.
